‘Theodor haber’ II(b-c/d). Highly desirable. Rarely Offered
Parentage: martagon var. cattaniae X tsingtauense R: J. Petruske (c. 1975), N: J. Petruske, REG: J. Petruske (1975) Fls dark shiny red; pollen orange-yellow. Stems 1 m or more, with up to 20 fls. July. (Misspelling: ‘Theodore Haber’. Published in Lilies and other Liliaceae, 1975: 97.)
Theodore Haber is a classic that goes back to 1975..    The dark and shiny tepals with the orange pollen slippers. Pay attention to the arrangement of the petals and tepals. A perfect example of  explementary design all in a single hybrid classic of what was…and can be for your very own.  It’s always so exciting to see the history of some of the photos I come across from the original founders of Hartle-Gilman Gardens. Legendary and Historic.  With legacy of the parentage within this hybrid, one will never know the offspring of such strong genetic lineage. Limited quantities this season
Please plant these 5-6 inches deep and water in well  Remember that these lilies will not thrive in deep shaded environments nor continuous wet conditions
