‘Northern Sunset’ is one of the newest of Dr. Wilbert Ronald. I remember it as thou it was yesterday, I had taken a road trip to attend the Manitoba Regional Lily Society for a conference 2024. I had a fun time visiting and listening to well known speakers talk about all things lily related. It was a wonderful with food, bulb sale and raffle tickets for a mix of chances. One chance was One bulb of ‘Northern Sunset.’  I bought three tickets and placed them in the bowl and crossed my fingers. I WON!  I remember the excitement, and how my friends mentioned how lucky I was…. Deborah, you were right, When Northern, Sunset bloomed in full glory this season, i was gobsmacked, People that walked by the display asked me what it was and where they could get their very own ‘Northern Sunset’ Orienpet.  No further explaination, just the photos of it in full glory. Thank you Manitoba Regional Lily Society for a seminar full of education and friendship. I look forward to 2026.
