Henryi Select

8.00 EACH. Henryi Species (native from central China) is the most unique reflexed golden orange flower that is just loaded with protruding papillate. These “whiskers” attract pollinators to gather the nectar held deep within the throat of this blossom. I find Henryi rather sexy with its long alluring lime green stamens that carry pollen. I have numerous Henryi, and it is never a disappointment in the gardens anywhere and everywhere. These were Hartle-Gilman Original Stock and Marsha always thought that “her”  Select Henryi bloomed a little later than others she had grown in her compared studies. I love to have these around within the gardens as the insects that are migrating certainly appreciate the free flowing nectar.
