‘Gayle’s Favorite’ R: A.J. Porter.
Parentage unknown.  This is a very hard to find here in the USA. This is a classic and historic lily that has unique charm for added textures within the gardens.   The flower tops are rather flat, thus adding to the  finesse of orientation within the gardens.  Flowers are coppery bronze, with a lighter orange-red tips The pictures just do not do this justice. Tepals recurved and let’s not forget about the dark stems…. It is truly a stunning lily that comes from our neighbors in lovely Canada.  I have only a few this season as I experienced a lot of losses with the no snow cover of 2024-2025.
