‘Dark Eyes’  Itoh Peony
They say eyes are the window to the soul. With deep black-crimson petals and buttery yellow heart, these dark beauties are sure to capture the imagination. Delicately perfumed single blooms float above gorgeous dark foliage. This Itoh hybrid adds whimsy and drama to any garden bed. While Dark Eyes will bloom prolifically in early summer, the show is far from over when the last bloom falls. The leaves will also provide an interest of  beautiful autumn hues until the first frost. Dark Eyes is an unusual Peony to have for your collection.
