‘Cika’

Description

‘Cika’ is a stunning upright vigorous orange-red Latvian lily. These bloom shine brightly and are large for a power punch of color to the gardens.   The unique flowers are spider like and I am sorry that the grower had not released any other photos for me this season. If you’re into the reds with flowers for your gardens, you certainly do not want to overlook this Latvian beauty of Guntis Grants.  Sassy small brush marks are deep in the cavity that give the flower a sense of bursting. The deep midribs of each tepal cause the petals to slightly curve upwards.    I was not fortunate to get only more photos of this asiatic last season during bloom time here at Hartle-Gilman Gardens.
