‘Blushing Princess’
       Introduced in 1991, ‘Blushing Princess’ is a semi-double, soft-pink hybrid that will flower very early in the season. ‘Blushing Princess’ has beautiful light-pink flower buds unfolding to large, nearly double flowers that will turn toward white during the maturing process.  (See my photos0
    ‘Blushing Princess’ has strong 32″ stems that stand upright. The leaves have an elegant shape and the plant itself is very productive. Over the last few years ‘Blushing Princess’ has become a popular collectors item and garden peony.  I have sold out at the Minnesota Arboretum two seasons in a row now. This fragrant variety is a high performing and sought-after variety as a cut-flower peony for most climates including greenhouse cultivation.    Fertile Tetraploid Herbaceous
 (Saunders/ Reath/Rogers, 1991).
