Fls wine-red, tepal-tips deep red, throat red; spots inconspicuous; nectaries red; pollen dark brown. Tepal- margins smooth. Lvs scattered, dark green. Stems 0.8-1 m, dark red. Midseason. In 1974, this beauty was consider the darkest asiatic of its time.
