This Minnesota Martagon has caught attention with many collectors with its cherry nose ( stigma ) The forum rooms and chat feeds have many asking for this from all over the world. I have a several now that I can offer of this unique Minnesota Martagon. These are original stock from Hartle-Gilman Gardens that were rescued with Mary (my heavenly admit to the Facebook Group) when we did a road trip in 2020 after I became the caretaker of Hartle-Gilman Gardens. There was a marker in the ground that said NFS— How happy I was to have found a pot of gold per se, and now have increased supply that can be offered. I remember the day well, that day we dug hundreds of original stock of Martagon lilies in the field and over at Dr. Gilmans original home in town.

Orange, Large flower– heavily spotted and large cherry red stigma that just locks your eyes when you are viewing it. Fragrance is heavy with exotic pleasant aromas.

This will easily be one that would want to be used for breeding and hybridization.

This is easily one that will be an heirloom garden treasure to pass to the future gardeners in you family.
