‘Sunny Morning’ is one of the many shade loving martagon lily hybrids. This one has many different hues of tangerine and maze color that are often changing color within the breeze of the summer day and sunny mornings. This is an alluring flower for the migrating butterflies as well as hummingbirds.
‘Sunny Morning’ multiple shades of yellow and orange which change constantly in the morning sun are very unique characteristics of this hybrid martagon. These Butterscotch-Orange pendant nodding flowers that are freckled with brick-red contrast. It grows happily in moderate shade to full sun. I truly believe that this one just glows within the gardens. Please remember that sometimes your Martagon will not come up the first year or if it does, it may not bloom. They are busy forming perennial root structures for the following year. We call it the Minnesota U OF M flowers due to the color arrangement and that are the local university colors.. Go Gophers.
