Pink Surprise Double

I have to admit that I was very disappointed when I placed my European order for my double lilies and had then to have Pink Double Surprise arrive instead. WOW

What a splendid surprise indeed. These are new to Hartle-Gilman Gardens and I cannot wait to see how these fair in the garden with all of the fancy radical behavior that they seem to offer.  This Double Oriental Hybrid has charm and grace and is packed with a fragrance that lingers. Soft, sweet and supple. I love planting these in planters for a vertical performance at my entryways. Just remember to take them out in the fall and toss them into the grounds or as I do, cover them entirely with peat and place in a chilled environment for the winter.
