Attracted to a more unusual muted pink oriental, I saw vast bud count that certainly was ready to put on a show in the fields. ‘Peppermint Sprinkles’ had flowers that were 7-8 inches across, small recurve for a feature that was most attractive. The kaleidoscope of movement, strength of holding an abundant of blooms had me stop to admire such grace. The papillae reminded me of Ice cream sprinkles, hence the name. We were informed that this is a vigorous grower, obtaining the height of 4.5 feet with long lasting blooms Mid-Summer season.
My photos just do not do it justice. Wow,.. I wonder if i see lavender in the mix of the sprinkles ?
