The “Roselily Julia” lily (Lilium orientalis) is a magnificent oriental variety with double fragrant saturated cool pink flowers that you simply cannot ignore. Its slender flowering stalk ends with several huge bowl-shaped flowers that, in contrary to the blooms of traditional single lilies do not look like long cups but are densely filled with narrow petals. These long, elegantly outward bending petals delight with a nice velvety shine and take on a saturated fuchsia colour. The warm yellow spot in the middle of a flower only adds to its depth.
