Gold Council Chamber  金阁丨Tree Peonies

Gold Council Chamber Peony (also called Jin ge Peony) is an outstanding, beautiful upright deciduous shrub. It has divided dark green leaves and large, showy fully double flowers with a spicy scent.
Blooming from late spring to early summer, its soft apricot petals have serrated edges and pink borders—a rare color in peonies. Hardy in zones 3-8, bare-root plants ship only in spring, late autumn and winter. The habit of the Tree Peony is that of a statement within the gardens. Unfolding with the surrender of the warmth the season is offering.  Gold Council Chamber Tree Peony is a palette of melon, saffron and moonbeams. Truly a one of a kind that will draw a lot of conversation through-out the years.

5 feet tall once mature Grows about 3-5 inches per season. So very slow growing. A lovely addition of grace and splendor.  Loves dappled sunlight and grows well in the sunlight too. Very adaptable and was growing in zone 5a Minnesota climate.
