Inside strong red/deep red (46A/185A), with a small strong orange (25B) mark above each nectary; outside moderate red (179A/B), a little stronger than strong orange-yellow (17A) towards tepal-edges, midribs suffused with strong yellow-green (144B); spots dark red (187A), on two-thirds of each tepal; papillae few, in the throat; nectaries moderate yellowish pink (179D); pollen strong reddish orange (169A); stigma moderate orange- yellow (164B). Buds hairy. Fls 170 mm wide; tepals 90 × 30-40 mm, margins smooth, tips recurved. Lvs scattered, 170 × 12.5 mm. Stems 0.4 m, green, hairy, with 3-5 fls. June to July. Three feet tall
