Description

‘autumn Color’ II(-/-). an extremely difficult martagon to find here in the USA.
Parentage: L. × dalhansonii ‘Brocade’ X tsingtauenseR: E. Robinson (1975), G: E. Robinson (1980), N: E. Robinson (1985), I: E. Robinson (1984), REG: D. Dale (1993) Inside deep yellow, throat lime-green; outside light buff-yellow, tepal-margins deep yellow; spots very dark maroon, which on opening are a lighter red, giving impression of a red centre; nectaries light green. Fls 70 mm wide; tepals 38 × 15 mm, margins smooth, tips slightly recurved. Lvs whorled, 200 × 50 mm, pale green. Stems 1.2-1.4 m, light green, with 14-20 fls. Early July.
