I have to admit that this is a slow and steady grower. I would believe that it can get persnickety some seasons and come up and soon disappear, but then the following season, it has been known to have four stems of vigor and 50-60 blooms for a season of color for almost a month. This heritage or may I say CLASSIC lilium Martagon is such a glowing sensation, It is easily seen from across the meadow here at Hartle-Gilman Gardens. I original harvested this martagon from the previous owners of HgG. 5 growing seasons later, I am able to offer 4 of these for someone’s collection.
PLANT 5-6 INCHES DEEP AND WATER IN WELL
I HAVE MINE IN A MORE DAPPLED SUNLIGHT ENVIROMENT.
