Description

‘ Cora Louise Peony is a hybrid of a tree and a herbaceous peony, known for the enormous large bloom, fragrance and its resilience. This hybrid is also being called the ‘Flaming Lavender’  Peony because of petals that are white and are surrounding a lavender colored nectary.  These large half double blooms will carry gracefully on attractive foliage and 8-10 inch wide blooms  will continue for several weeks.  I am paticullary fond of the characteristics of the growth as it emerges in the spring with shoots that spring up of copper-burgundy. As it matures to a deep olive greenery within the landscapes. Then as soon as the season wanes, the foliage with provide fall interest as it turns to a golden yellow to mimic the surrender of autumn into fall.

This Peony is award winning and is truly a beautiful hybrid to add to your collection.
