Description

Species —- L.bubliferum are native and distributed in much of Europe. It grows in mountain meadows and on hillsides. They prefer calcareous ( lime- chalky ) soils in sunny areas. They have done well at the farm in Boyd and I have several that I am now able to offer. They do need some protection and they should be planted in well drained soil. There will be stem bulbils that produce on the main stem. They are very special and having these to offer all of you will reward you for years to come of a very rare delight indeed. Please keep protected for a few season so that they get established.  These were grown from seed that was wild collected from the rivers of Daugava of Latvia,  Thank you David H.
