Description

Amelita Martagon Parentage: (martagon × unknown) X (martagon × unknown)

Tarlton (1993) Inside moderate purplish red (70A), throat strong purplish red (70B); outside deep purplish pink (70C); spots numerous, mostly on mid-section of each tepal; nectaries light yellow-green (145C); pollen vivid yellow (17B). Fls 70 mm wide; tepals 40 × 15 mm, margins smooth, tips recurved; pedicels unusually long. Lvs whorled, 120 × 65 mm, mid green. Stems 1.1-1.2 m, mid green, with c.12 fls. June.
