White Twinkle

Description

White Tiger is the dainty, wild looking, and unique white tiger lily that has become one of our favorites here. The dramatic recurved petals and those daring spots make this a charming old fashioned fav.

(2000) Inside and outside pale yellow-green (155A); midribs brilliant yellow-green (150B) with basal part greyish red (178A), outside of outer tepals greyish red (178A) at base, tipped dark greyish reddish brown (200A); spots dark
red (187A), on basal part of each tepal; papillae few, in the throat; nectaries white-hairy; pollen strong orange (169B); stigma dark red (187A). Fls 170 mm wide; tepals 95 × 35-50 mm, margins smooth, outer tepals recurved. Lvs scattered, 70 × 12 mm. Stems 1-1.4 m, green, with lots of darker markings, and with c.13 fls.
