Description

Eastern Morn….. I had the pleasure of meeting the hybridizer ( Wilbert Ronald ) and this beauty within the fields. Trumpet x Longiflorum hybrid. If I could have 100 of these I would call it heaven, I am getting there!  I believe that the fragrance alone is heaven. I love the trumpet shaped flowers that appear on long, sturdy stems. I love that the flowers open with a sunshine yellow center for all the world to see.    These bulbs are coming from the grower himself.

Easter morn’ ‘Longiflorum/trumpet hybrid, the fabulous hybrid ‘Easter Morn’ from the wonderful breeding work of Canadians Wilbert G. Ronald and Lynn Collicutt doing research at the Morden Research Centre. . Its enormous stems are strong enough to carry its huge inflorescence of heavily fragrant flowers; even more amazing is that it is very hardy here in the upper midwest regions. ‘EasterMorn,’ with its unique beauty, stature, fragrance, and for me the genetics , have over and over again, proven garden endurance and cold hardiness, I truly feel that all should have at least one grace their lily gardens. It has not been easy to find the true ‘Easter Morn,’ under its real name,
