Description
tsingtauense IX(a/c) Fls orange to orange-red; spots maroon; papillae present; pollen orange; stigma orange-yellow. Fls often somewhat zygomorphic. Fls to 60 mm wide: tepals up to 40 × 15 mm, tips slightly recurved. Lvs in whorls of 5-14 in lower part of stem, scattered at top of stem, 40-125 × 15-30 mm, dark green. Stems up to 1.2 m, but usually less, with 1-6 fls. June to July. NE China, Korea.
