martagon ‘Peppard Gold’ – pink buds open to yellow flowers with a red blush and lots of dark freckles. The appeal that I love of this one is that it truly looks like butterflies in your gardens just fluttering on nearby blossoms.These sometimes are persnickety and do not want to come up the first year or they will and they will not bloom. Dont worry, These are just busy forming perennial root structures. The delight of these within the gardens have proven over and over again with me, that Martagons are my favorite of all divisions aside from species.
