Description

‘St. Albert’— R pre 2018 Evans Chance Seedling Dark strong purplish-red shading with the heart of muted maze golden burst. Thick, shiny tepals. I personally enjoy the visual of this not only is it  a fast grower and therefore multiplies nicely once established, but the tall wand like stems with budding flowers that just pop open from the bottom up almost reminds me of a delphinium perennial. The flowers are smaller and sometimes I like the wee flowers that attract the hummers versus the larger side facing ones that we are starting to see. Its dainty but very sturdy, its grand in vertical appeal and its truly a knockout for anyone looking for sweetheart red blooms within the garden paths.  The fragrance matches with the a wee effervescence of paired harmony.   This has become a hard one to find for private collectors and its always nice to be able to offer a few for its old world charm.
4 feet tall once established.
Plant 5 inches deep and water in well
