Description

‘Lady Alice’  is a lovely auralian hybrid (meaning that Henryi species is the parent of this offspring named ‘Lady Alice’ So this is not a species but it is called a Auralian. Lots of raised papillae for added interest. I was very excited to know that this was what some believe that Julius Wadekamper bred here in the Faribault Minnesota. I was thrilled that Hartle-Gilman had this in the original stock from Minnesota They are beautiful there is no doubt.  They bloom late in the season that mimic the season of change as the foliage is  just starting to change. They are truly one that attracts numerous migratory insect and birds for its nectar.
